Artist Da Han

Dahan was born in Maoping, Yong’an, Fujian, China.

Raised with Buddhist faith and a love for traditional Chinese calligraphy and painting, he later studied Western art at university and worked as an art educator.

Deeply inspired by the vastness of Chinese culture, he received spiritual enlightenment under Master Yuan Yin. Embracing the Avatamsaka Sutra’s wisdom that all is but the creation of the mind, he merges Buddhist philosophy with his painting practice.

His art explores the five aggregates and karmic cause and effect, dedicated to pure spiritual cultivation. With universal compassion, he aspires for all beings to achieve true awakening and ultimate enlightenment.
