OIL PAINTING ARTIST Marilyn Harris

Marilyn A. M. Harris (b. 1943) is an American artist.
Marilyn A. M. Harris, born in 1943 in Philadelphia, PA, earned her B.S. in Education from Towson University in 1965. Over decades, she pursued extensive studies in drawing, painting, ceramics, and pottery in and around Baltimore, Maryland, while exhibiting her ceramic works and pottery in numerous art and craft shows. She was an active member of artist cooperatives and life-drawing groups, organized major multimedia exhibitions, including a commemorative show for sculptor Reuben Kramer at Baltimore City Hall, and authored biographical works on prominent artists.
After relocating to Los Angeles in 1996, she focused on nature-inspired drawing and landscape studies. In 2013, she settled in Ibiza, Spain, where she developed a body of landscape paintings using acrylic, gouache, crayon, and ink. She has continued her artistic practice and exhibition participation internationally, including shows with The New York Arts Club.
